JSON to XML Converter
Convert JSON objects and arrays into clean, readable XML with proper escaping.
Conversion rules
JSON objects become XML elements with child elements for each key. JSON arrays become repeated
elements of the same tag name (array items without a natural name use <item>).
String values are escaped (& < > "), null becomes an
empty element, and nested objects/arrays are converted recursively. Keys that are not valid XML
element names are replaced with field.
FAQ
Does it preserve XML attributes?
JSON has no attribute concept, so everything is mapped to elements. Going the other way (XML to JSON) does preserve attributes as @name keys.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser.
